Tonks and I sat and read this all afternoon. A chilling tale of a serial killer, set in a cabin the woods, and featuring friendships that last through the test of time.

I worked it out quite early on but so desperately wanted to be wrong. I loved this story despite the superfluous character of the abusive boyfriend who, thankfully, didn’t last the distance.

I love books set in cabins far away from civilization. The scope for suspense and murderous intent is just perfect in this setting. Add in the heavy snowfall and it’s a perfect place to be trapped with a serial killer on the loose!

Top marks for this atmospheric thriller.

Thanks as always to #NetGalley for providing me with this wonderful story.
