NetGalley and Audible

I have recently discovered the beauty of NetGalley and have been consumed by all the wonderful fiction that I have received from them. I have reviewed over 25 books in the last few weeks and all but one have been terrific. Now, I know I love books and have chosen my genres carefully, but I still think those statistics are pretty good. The only downside to this wonderful world of reading is that I don’t possess an ereader and so I’m managing to devour these books through the Aldiko app on my iPhone. Luckily, I have a 7 Plus and so the screen is quite large. I have never been tempted by the new age trend for ereaders before and I must admit that I am reluctant to move over completely from my beloved paperbacks but for NetGalley this is totally working for me. Having the books on my phone means they are always with me and and I can read a sneaky page or two whenever I get a moment. Plus, I can read in bed without disturbing my other half which is a bonus. But I still buy and read paperbacks compulsively and they remain my preferred format for my reading pleasure. Although, Audible also has a large part to play in my life lately, also on my phone, which is making my daily commute far more bearable while I am stuck in peak-hour traffic. As well as making lunches, hanging out washing, and of course, getting ready for work. I love how reading is becoming far more accessible during my daily routines.
